FIRST Robotics is an internationally recognized event where teams from all over the world build robots to fit a predetermined challenge, competition, or event; each year the event or task the robot must perform changes and differs. For these events, alliances must be formed between teams. Students, and even teachers, learn how to market themselves, to solve problems in a creative way, and how to formulate plans in a team-based environment.
FIRST Robotics is more than just teaching kids how to build a robot. It’s about teaching perseverance, dedication, commitment, gracious professionalism, and cooperation.
